Hunting in Namibia with Onduasu
„Hart wie Kameldornholz ist unser Land“ (Our country is as hard as the wood of a camel thorn tree) is a verse of an old German song about South West Africa and there are probably no better words to describe Namibia.
Even if you have heard or read many other reports of travellers – once you have seen the wide savannahs and dry rivers with your own eyes, experienced the amazing wild life and the impressive plains and let the sun touch your heart – then your search for a declaration of love is concluded.
An old wise saying of the San (native inhabitants of Namibia) says: „You come and you go, but if you return, you will stay forever.“

Farm Onduasu and accommodation
Your hosts, Kurt Kretzschmar and his wife Ute, are third-generation Namibians of German origin. ONDUASU is a cattle ranch that makes a living from cattle breeding and farming. Years ago the farm was expanded to include guest accommodations. Due to the ever-increasing game population, the farm could now also be used for hunting. Here, the skill, special instinct and decades of experience of the farmer are particularly useful in order to always provide enough living space for the wild animals and the cattle.
Onduasu offers personal, individual accommodation far away from mass tourism. The guest houses on ONDUASU have four cozy double rooms, as well as beautiful bathrooms with shower and toilet (with running hot and cold water).
